Stop unlawful, racially-biased marijuana arrests

Jun 05 2012

New York police arrest tens of thousands of people each year for possessing small amounts of marijuana, and 85% of them are Black or Latino — even though White people use marijuana at higher rates. This saddles people with permanent criminal records and severe consequences.

Please join us in calling on Senate President Dean Skelos and members of the NY State Legislature to end this unlawful and racially-biased practice.
